A local, family-run farm
The Hirst family have been farming in Norfolk for 4 generations.
We initially spent most of our days both farming and running our popular Hirsty’s Fun Park. Then, Covid-19 hit – and the Fun Park sadly had to close its gates to the public.
In between lockdowns, Becca Hirst found herself keeping busy on the farm, by selling lamb and beef to local customers. There were new waves being made in the ‘shop local, shop small’ movement during the pandemic. And, with community being at the heart of Hirst’s mission, our family’s vision grew.
Soon after, Becca began preparing pies and selling vegetables, eggs and flour. Together with her husband, Rob, the pair transformed a 1950’s cattle shed into a hub for locally sourced produce and freshly prepared meals.
The premises officially opened in May 2021, with Rob’s grandfather John Hirst cutting the ribbon to open the Farm Shop & Café to the public. The rest is history!

Front of House

Our kitchen is where the magic happens. This team has over 40 years experience – and each member is as passionate about serving delicious home-cooked meals as the next.
The Farm Shop team are champions of quality. They ensure that our produce is the freshest of the fresh – and they’re experts at coming up with seasonal recipes.
Dabs n Crabs
Since 2021, Team Dabs n Crabs have been serving you a variety of delicious wet fish, shellfish and smoked fish. They’re happy to pack up a selection of Cromer crabs, fish platters and much more – just for you.
