The Dabs ‘n’ Crabs team are local fishmongers selling fresh fish, smoked fish and shellfish at Hirst’s Farm Shop in Ormesby St Margaret.
Formerly based on the Coast road at Scratby, the Dabs ‘n’ Crabs team have over 20 years experience supplying fresh, shell and smoked fish here in east Norfolk, building up a trusted reputation. They moved into our farm shop in 2021, continuing to keep the counters well stocked with fresh daily deliveries.
With such broad experience and knowledge, they’re happy to answer your fish enquiries, and can source any fishy requirements you may have.

Fresh and smoked fish
We have a large range of daily fresh fish, including cod, salmon, plaice, haddock and seabass. We also supply more exotic fish like swordfish, red snapper, john dory and monk fish to name a few.
At our fish counter, you’ll also find fresh smoked haddock, kippers and kipper fillets, as well as ready-to-eat (and very popular!) hot smoked salmon and mackerel fillets in a range of flavours.

Shellfish for sale
When in season, our local fresh shellfish options include lobster, Cromer crabs, whelks and cockles.
In addition, our mussels and oysters are wild and British.
We also stock prawns, crevettes, roll mops and anchovies, all ready to eat and enjoy.
Bespoke and set mini platters
We create bespoke platters to suit all seafood preferences and budgets. These are a great option for any occasion: birthdays, anniversaries, funerals and more.
Our set mini platters are available all year round, with prawn and crayfish being particularly popular!

Fresh deli selection
On-the-go fish snack pots and salads are available in our display fridge, including delicious king prawn and ocean sticks with sweet chili dips.
We also make our own pates using hot smoked salmon or mackerel in a range of flavours.
